Nursing care of a child with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome after liver transplantation

Abstract: To summarize the first aid and nursing experience of a child with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome after liver transplantation. In order to solve the problems of the child with rapidly progressive hypoxemia and easy occurrence of bleeding,thrombosis and withdrawal symptoms during treatment,following measures were taken,such as emergency establishment of artificial airway,rapid implementation of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and prone ventilation therapy,precise anti-coagulation management,rational sedation and analgesia,and development of personalized psychological nursing plan. After 28 days of treatment and nursing,the patient was transferred from the transplantation ICU to the general ward and discharged from the hospital on the 55th day after surgery. The follow-up was 2 months and the patient was in good condition.
