Nursing care of a child with bronchiolitis obliterans after bone marrow transplantation undergoing lung transplantation

Abstract: To summarize the nursing experience of lung transplantation in a child with bronchiolitis obliterans after bone marrow transplantation. Individualized children pulmonary rehabilitation nursing was taken for the patient's young age,complex disease,two transplants,insufficient engagement for cooperation,etc. That included game-style and reward-based respiratory exercises,modified prone ventilation,step-by-step exercise sequential nutritional support and psychological nursing. After 120 days of treatment and nursing,the patient was discharged from the hospital in a stable condition. The child recovered well during two months follow-up.
