Abstract:

This article summarized the perioperative nursing experience for a pediatric patient undergoing living donor liver transplantation, who presented with recurrent hepatoblastoma complicated by invasive pulmonary aspergillosis, congenital bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and incomplete right bundle branch block. Key nursing interventions included airway management based on lung-protective strategies, immediate postoperative extubation followed by sequential high-flow nasal oxygen therapy;goal-directed hemodynamic monitoring and fluid management;collaborative monitoring of immunosuppressive and antifungal therapy by nurses, physicians, and pharmacists;a tripartite infection prevention and control approach focusing on environment, procedures, and personnel. Through these comprehensive nursing interventions, the child was discharged successfully 32 days after surgery and remained in good general condition at the 5-month follow-up.
