Abstract: To summarize the nursing care of a patient with acute respiratory distress syndrome who received extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal. Nursing points：nursing during prone position ventilation,dynamic adjustment of lung protective ventilation strategy,coordination and management of nitric oxide therapy,balancing the risk of bleeding and thrombosis,goal-oriented sedation and analgesia,and progressive early rehabilitation exercise. The patient went offline successfully on the 110th day and was transferred to a rehabilitation hospital for further treatment on the 120th day.
