Nursing of a patient with congenital generalized lipodystrophy and hypovolemic shock

Abstract: To summarize the nursing experience of a child with congenital generalized lipodystrophy accompanied by hypovolemic shock. The main points of nursing care included closely observing the changes of the condition,rapid identification of high-risk events using the Pediatric Early Warning Score,early identification of hypovolemic shock,and timely target-oriented fluid management intervention,providing individual enteral nutrition support and family health guidance according to the characteristics of the disease and disease course. After 16 days of treatment and nursing,the child was discharged from hospital. No serious complications occurred during the follow-up for more than 1 year.
