Abstract: To summarize the perioperative nursing experience of a patient with Guillain-Barré syndrome combined with gastric ulcer bleeding. The following nursing measures were taken to address the patient's major problems of respiratory failure and difficulty in hemostasis for recurrent bleeding from combined gastric ulcer during the progression of Guillain-Barré syndrome,including risk assessment of gastrointestinal bleeding and emergency care,monitoring and care of respiratory failure,implementation of early nutrition program and motor program aimed at neurological rehabilitation,personalized discharge instruction. After 23 days of treatment and care,the patient was successfully discharged from the hospital. He was in good condition and his weight gained 2 kg at 1-month follow-up.
