Objective To develop a Knowledge-Attitude-Practice(KAP) Questionnaire on Enteral Nutrition Care for Patients Undergoing Prone Position Ventilation(PPV) and to evaluate its reliability and validity. Methods Based on the KAP theory,an initial pool of items was created through literature review and semi-structured interviews. The initial version of the questionnaire was finalized after expert consultation and a pilot study. From March to June 2024,a convenience sampling method was used to select ICU nurses from three hospitals in Zhejiang Province for survey. The reliability, item analysis, exploratory factor analysis(EFA),and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) of the questionnaire were conducted. Results The final questionnaire consisted of three dimensions, including knowledge, attitude, and practice, with a total of 43 items. The overall Cronbach’s α coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.957,indicating high internal consistency. The cumulative variance contribution rate from the EFA was 72.128%. The indices of CFA showed good model fit(CFI=0.952,RMSEA=0.054). The content validity index was 0.978 and the content validity index ranged from 0.820 to 1.000,suggesting that the questionnaire has good content validity. Conclusion The developed questionnaire demonstrated good reliability and validity, making it a reliable tool for assessing ICU nurses’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding enteral nutrition care for PPV patients.
