Nursing care for a patient with severe wasp sting-induced multiple organ dysfunction syndrome

Abstract:

To summarize the nursing experience of a patient with severe wasp sting-induced multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. A patient suffered from severe wasp stings in a short period of time,which led to rapid liver,kidney,and hematological system damage,and rapid disease progression,needed to maintain stable internal environment,and prevent organ function deterioration. The following measures were taken,including the early removal of toxins,development of an optimal blood purification and anticoagulation regimen,dynamic monitoring of multi-organ function indicators and implementation of effective measures to protect target organs,optimization of the nutrition plan to promote tissue and organ function recovery,and application of traditional Chinese medicine techniques to improve sleep and promote tissue repair. After 12 days of meticulous treatment and nursing care,the patient improved and was discharged from the hospital.
