Abstract:

To summarize the nursing experience of a patient with severe pelvic and abdominal abscess caused by fallopian tube and ovarian inflammation. In view of the patient’s acute onset，severe pelvic and abdominal infection，poor nutritional status，and slow recovery of gastrointestinal function，a multidisciplinary nursing team was established after admission to the ward to formulate a detailed nursing plan. And early identification of severe disease，timely fluid resuscitation and use of antimicrobial drugs，refined nursing to control infection，comprehensive phased nutritional support，stepwise quantitative activities and traditional Chinese medicine assisted treatment were implemented to improve patient recovery. The patient was successfully discharged from the hospital after 40 days of careful treatment and nursing.
