Abstract: To summarize the nursing experience of a patient with secondary bronchopleural fistula(BPF) after autologous lung transplantation. In view of the problems of severe complications of bronchopleural fistula after autologous lung transplantation and lack of evidence based nursing plan, the high risk screening of BPF before operation and the establishment of a multidisciplinary team were adopted. Early warning of secondary BPF after surgery should be implemented. A series of perioperative targeted nursing care were established, such as targeted airway management plan, precise control of blood glucose fluctuation range, and goal-oriented integrated nutrition management. Individualized psychological support and counseling were implemented. After 29 days of active treatment and nursing, the patient was discharged smoothly.
