Nursing care of a child with anti N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis accompanied by toxic epidermal necrolysis

Abstract: To summarize the nursing experience of a child with anti N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor encephalitis with toxic epidermal necrolysis. Early identification of condition changes,full monitoring of suspected allergenic drugs,personalized skin and mucosal care based on the evolution process of the skin lesion and the characteristics of the disease,precise control of wound infection,implementation of procedural pain strategies,maintenance of venous pathways and fluid management under the condition of mucosal barrier damage,active provision of children’s medical assistance services,and elimination of negative emotions were taken. After 56 days of treatment and care, the child’s condition improved and was discharged from the hospital. He is now recovering well.
