Abstract: To summarizes the nursing experience of a breast cancer patient with anaphylactic shock caused by peripherally inserted central venous catheter（PICC） placement. In view of the unclear allergic source in the early stage of the onset,the similarities between the allergic symptoms and PICC-related stress reaction,arrhythmia,and anaphylactoid reaction,early identification of catheter allergy,activating a rapid response team,actively cooperating with anti-allergic and anti-shock treatment,close monitoring,psychological care and other measures were taken. The patient was discharged from the hospital in the stable condition 3 days after the treatment. The patient was followed up for 2 months after discharge and was in good condition.
