Nursing care of a patient with lymphoma complicated with hemophagocytic syndrome and spontaneous splenic rupture

Abstract: To summarize the nursing experience of a patient with children systemic EB virus positive T-cell lymphoma complicated with hemophagocytic syndrome and spontaneous splenic rupture,whose initial symptom was fever. To address the urgent and critical issues of the patient with hemophagocytic syndrome and sudden spontaneous splenic rupture,we implemented the nursing measures,including early identification and management of spontaneous splenic rupture,strengthening perioperative management to prevent massive abdominal bleeding,risk management of postoperative pancreatic fistula,evaluation and prevention of venous thrombosis,special medication care of oxaliplatin and psychological support. The patient was discharged smoothly on the 33rd day after splenectomy and underwent allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation a month after discharge,with good recovery during follow-up to date.
