Abstract: Objective To analyze the risk factors of complications at the puncture site in patients with atrial fibrillation and propose corresponding nursing countermeasures. Methods Using a case-control study design,92 patients with atrial fibrillation by femoral vein radiofrequency ablation admitted in a tertiary class A hospital in Zhejiang Province from March 2022 to June 2022 were included, among which 46 patients had puncture site complications, and 46 patients without postoperative complications were matched 1:1 by age and gender. Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression were used to analyze independent risk factors for puncture site complications after operation. Results Logistic regression analysis showed that BMI(OR=1.372),perception of local bandage tightness(OR=3.596),stretch bandage time(OR=1.524),and international standardized ratio(OR=10.563)were independent risk factors of of puncture site complications after radiofrequency ablation in patients with atrial fibrillation(P<0.05). Conclusion The incidence of local complications after atrial fibrillation radiofrequency ablation was mainly related to obesity, international standardized ratio and excessive bandage. It is recommended to address risk factors to reduce the risk of complications.
