Abstract: This paper summarized the nursing experience of a patient with decompensated liver cirrhosis who suffered from septic shock caused by nonspecific skin and soft tissue infection. The key points of nursing were as follows:implementing fluid resuscitation guided by the target mean arterial pressure, strengthening nutritional management to accelerate wound repair, preventing bleeding and thrombosis during the decompensation period of liver cirrhosis, strengthening management of hospital infection to prevent nosocomial infection. After 45 days of personalized treatment and nursing, the skin grafts of both lower limbs survived,no nosocomial infection occurred, and the patient recovered and was discharged.
