Abstract: This paper summarized the postoperative nursing of a child with radical treatment of pulmonary atresia and fusion of aortopulmonary collateral arteries. In response to the complex surgical procedures, long duration of extracorporeal circulation, poor compliance of the right ventricle after surgery, application of artificial valved blood vessels, delayed closure of the chest in the pediatric patient and other problems, the following nursing measures were taken, including strictly control of the intake and output to maintain the stability of right heart function, implementation of early dynamic anticoagulation management to maintain the patency of artificial valved blood vessels, paying attention to delayed chest closure and respiratory care, strengthening of nutritional support and psychological care. After careful treatment and nursing, the child recovered well and was discharged. Following up for six months, the child‘s right ventricular outflow tract was patency and the cardiac function recovered well.
