Nursing care of a patient with atrial septal defect and pulmonary hypertension complicated with cerebral embolism during pregnancy

Abstract: To summarize the nursing experience of a patient with atrial septal defect and pulmonary hypertension complicated with cerebral embolism during pregnancy. In view of the problems caused by cerebral embolism in the patient,such as weakened muscle strength of the right limb,inability to speak and dysphagia,atrial septal defect,and increased pulmonary artery pressure,a multidisciplinary team was established to maintain the nervous system function,implemented strict volume management to prevent heart failure,implemented early rehabilitation to reduce the degree of functional disability and iIndividual psychological nursing to avoid negative emotions. After 23 days of careful treatment and nursing,the patient‘s condition improved and was discharged.
