Methods The retrospective analysis encompassed the selection process, training protocols, duty specifications, drill testing of nursing staff in order to establish a comprehensive nursing security scheme. Results The Hangzhou Asian Games allocated 531 nursing staff for venues,58.76% of whom had senior professional titles. The focus was on strengthening the nursing force in the polyclinic, and 26 nursing staff were arranged. During the Asian Games,a total of 11,658 person-times were treated, and nursing staff played an extremely important role in the medical security services. Conclusion In the medical security of large-scale sports events,it is necessary to configure a reasonable structure of nursing staff, clarify job responsibilities and process specifications, improve the security ability of nursing staff through training drills and simulation testing, and apply multicultural nursing to meet the needs of patients to the greatest extent.
