Abstract: Heart transplantation is the most effective treatment for end-stage heart failure，but it is faced with problems such as donor shortage and postoperative immune rejection. Left ventricular assist device （LVAD） has become an important treatment for patients with end-stage heart failure. Patients with LVAD often experience psychological distress such as anxiety or depression，which not only affects the quality of life of patients，but also increases the fatality rate. This paper summarizes the psychological characteristics and influencing factors of LVAD implantation patients，nursing assessment，nursing intervention plan，and evaluation methods，in order to provide reference for psychological nursing of LVAD implantation patients.
