Abstract: The nursing experience of prone position ventilation supported by extracor- poreal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in 8 patients with severe primary graft dysfunction (PGD) after lung transplantation. We adopted precise fluid management, enhanced airway management during pulmonary edema, comprehensive measures based on patient safety and early pulmonary rehabilitation training to deal with the patient’s fluid control, airway maintenance, prone position, pulmonary rehabilitation and other issues. 7 patients were eventually transferred to the transplantation ward successfully, while one patient died of multiple organ failure.
